The 2026 Fangtang Forum opened in Beijing on June 22. Its four thematic sessions addressed AI epistemology, computational philosophy and AI ethics, the reconfiguration of human value in a post-work era, and the reorganization of knowledge production and humanistic scholarship in the age of AI.
Hosted by the Fangtang Institute at Tsinghua University, the Forum considered philosophical responses to the next set of key questions raised by artificial intelligence.
