The Fangtang Doctoral Dissertation Award encourages early-career scholars to pursue academic frontiers and transcend established boundaries. It supports sustained inquiry into foundational, essential, and forward-looking questions.
The inaugural award ceremony was held in April 2025 and recognized five young scholars for their work in the humanities and social sciences.
